We appreciate you have questions about us, so let’s jump right in to some of the most frequently asked questions (FAQ) we hear from customers.
What types of property do you purchase?
In short, practically any kind of residential property. From houses to flats to everything in between, if your property falls into the residential category we can nearly always help you.
What about the location of my property?
We work with customers who have property in most parts of the UK. From England to Wales, Scotland to Northern Ireland, if you have property to sell we can very likely arrange a purchase.
How much will you pay for my property?
We will work with you to determine the most fair and equitable price possible. The precise offer you receive from us will depend on many different factors, including the type of property, the location, and its physical condition. Most often we will pay you somewhere between 75% and 90% of the property’s open market value.
My property is in disrepair, will you still buy it?
Yes, absolutely. Often the properties we buy need improvements ranging anywhere from minor to major, so their physical state is generally not an issue. In many cases a private property sale is such an excellent choice precisely because the property is in disrepair and thus is extremely difficult to sell on the open market via an estate agent.
At first glance this might not seem like enough, but remember the other factors that make a private property sale so beneficial. First, you don’t have to wait weeks or months on end for the property to sell on the open market, and second, you don’t have to pay the substantial additional costs of estate agency fees and the like.
What’s more, we offer you the flexibility to structure your contract in ways that are often even better solutions than an outright sell. Option agreements allow you remove the mortgage liability without selling your propertyOnce you make me an offer, how long do I have to decide whether or not to accept it?
Once you receive our guaranteed offer (within 48 hours), you have 28 days to consider it and make a decision. Need more time than that? No problem, in most cases we can still move forward with a sale after 28 days have passed with just a simple reassessment of the situation and an update of the formal offer.
I have an investment property I use it as a rental, can I still sell it to you?
Yes, of course. We often help property owners who want or need to shed a rental property by taking advantage of the benefits from a private property sale.
What would happen to my existing tenants if I sell you the property?
The sales process is practically seamless for your existing tenants. Even if they are behind on their rent, you don’t have to worry because we can still work with you to complete a private property sale transaction.
